THUNDERHAWK PROJECT UPDATE
July 2003

My scratch built Thunderhawk begun in August 2002 is beginning to take shape!

I finally got a basecoat on just because I couldn't stand an all white Thunderhawk, but I'm still adding details to the surfaces so it will be a while before I begin the "final" paintjob. Maybe by summer 2004 I'll have it completed! LOL! :)

Notice the four twin linked lascannon mounts on the nose,
each lascannon can rotate left/right and up/down fully. Also notice
the addition of missiles under each wing.

The nose ramp does open and close, and while you can't make it out here the ramp does have non-skid metal flooring detailing - we can't have Blood Angels slipping as they rush out to meet the enemy!

Now some of you have complained that it's difficult to get a sense of the size of this model, so here's my best effort to give you scale.

Details of the cockpit

a fully detailed interior

and padded leather accelerator counches!

Well that's it for now, I hope you've enoyed seeing the ongoing Thunderhawk project!
