Life with baby!

I am so very pleased to announce the birth of our first child, Elsbeth Katherine Wickes. Born on March 25th, 2007, at 1:14pm she weighed 7lbs 6 ounces at birth and was 21 inches long. Since then she's just kept growing each day and is becoming a perfect little fat baby!

The first two months have been crazy. Baby has reflux (tends to throw up a lot) so there've been a lot of sleepless nights, but we've finally found the right combinations of medicine and supplement to feed the baby. She's putting on a ton of weight (she's now over 12 lbs!),
and she's a happy little soul!

Katherine is doing great, here's a pic from a wedding we attended in the last week of May (eight weeks after our baby was born). How a maiden so fair married a goob like me I'll just never really understand.

Now as for yours truly, well I've never had so much sleep deprivation in my life. The first few weeks were rough, I won't lie - but at the same time the joy of seeing your baby smile actually makes it worthwhile. At this time (just over 8 weeks into fatherhood) I'm starting to get back to my artwork. I think my 40K time is going to almost vanish, but on an up note my 40K art projects continue - and I look forward to sharing those with you all as I complete various projects worthy of sharing.
