I drilled a hole through the Standard Bearer's hand and slipped the standard pole through it - allowing the banner to swivel and show the front of the Sanguinius Standard wither forward towards the enemy, or to the rear to inspire the Blood Angels as the Standard Bearer fights at the front. The white BA wings (and gold markings on the power armor) mark this model as being of the rank/member of our Honor Guard and the "Sanctus" designation marks this particular banner as being of special value within the Blood Angels Chapter - inspiring Blood Angels who see it to fight with even greater ferocity and determination. |
