Notice the teardrop on the skull atop the standard pole (I thought that was a nice touch), the shape of the giant arrowhead at the bottom of the standard pole is fairly visible here (all the better to stab it into the ground of conquered heretic worlds). The Sanguinius painting is a little bleached out in this photo (more detail is visible in person - I'm still learning about proper photography lighting!). You can also see the barrel of the bolt pistol is drilled out. The scope has a green lense (covered with a glosscoat to help let it sparkle). Also notice the base flocking if you will - the very non-reflective nature of it (and the minimizing black color) seems to me to help keep attention on the mini (rather than the base) and I like that - as my Blood Angels fight in many different environments (Cityfight, grasslands, etc). |
