In this image the Sanguinius Banner is faced to the front to boldly announce exactly who it is that has come to town :-) The reverse of the banner which we see here has the detailed angels wings which I use on the back of all of my Honor Guard banners - this one also has the word "Sanctus" clearly marked which quickly tells all that this is one of the Chapters "holy" standards. Granted the Blood Angels do not deify their Primarch - but I thought a banner of such importance would be clearly marked as a treasure of the Chapter. |
