Well those of you who helped with my list I would like to thank
you for the help!
I was playing the eldar alaitoc rangers, and it was a great game.
I will repost my list, and a run
down of what the eldar had then the battle report:
Blood Angels:

Well the mission we played was a rescue mission so most of my
army would be in reserv and
imune to the ranger disruption table!
My death company was 7 strong, only losing one guy from each of
my tactical squads! I took
the seargent out of TAC squad #2 and gave him a power fist!
i chose the table edge and i chose the corner
the eldar got first turn!
he deployed all his troops and i did the same
the ranger disrtuption table saw that one of my tac squads (#2)
would start in reserve, and the
other was pinned! He also got to shoot at my TAC squad #1 and
scored a wound which i
failed to save, first blood went to the eldar and things looked
grim already since my first turn i
would do nothing, and the game had yet to start!
ELDAR TURN 1
his guardians remained still, and his rangers moved, one of the
ranger squads would reach a
counter next turn! their was no shooting since my pinned tac
squad was behind a forest!
MARINE TURN 1
ABSOULUTLY NOTHING!
ELDAR TURN 2
reserves - a farseer, bashees (in surpent), and reapers
the reapers and farseer supported a guardian squad, and the surpent
flew 24" to my right
flank! one of the ranger squads reached a counter but it was
not the objective.
MARINE TURN 2
reserves - both speeders, vindicator, librarian, and crusader
I was happy that both my librarian and crusader made it so my
librarian could ride inside
(using the 2001 grand tournament rules, modles with jump packs
can ride in a transport but
they count as terminators so their was plenty of room in the
crusader!). My crusader took
point with my now un pinned tac squad #1 behind it followed by
the vindicator. the crusader
was sitting on top a counter that i would tae next turn. my speeder
also shot of to my right
flank to take on the bashees surpent, but since they moved 24"
they could not shoot. my
crusader shot at a ranger squad with every thing i could and
wiped it out!
ELDAR TURN 3
reserves - second reaper squad and second farseer
the new reapers and farseer backed up his unsoported guardians
one of his star cannons shot at a speeder but was unable to inflict
any damage, however his
bashees bright lances managed to shake one of the speeders, all
other eldar fire was usless
since my vehicles screened my tac squad!
MARINE TURN 3
reserves - second tac squad, 2 dreads, and the baal came on.
the crusader moved towars eldar, TAC squad #1 moved to a counter
but it was not the
objective, one of the furioso's and the baal moved to support
TAC squad #1, the other dread
moved of to the right towards another counter, the vindicator
moved towards center of the
table and would be ready to fire next turn. TAC squad #2 was
going to move to the left
towards another counter but failed thier blood rage and it landed
them in the middle of a forest
which would delay them from getting to the counter. my speeders
moved in to cover, and the
one theat could shoot scored a glancing hit on the bashees wave
surpent destroying its bright
lances! the crusader also shot some of the eldar guardians but
they manged to make their
saves due to the farseers fortune ability that was cast during
the eldar turn!
next turn would see my crusader reach the eldar lines ready for
assault, unfortunatly i did not
have my death company to add to the assault but with the fire
power of my speeders and my
vindicator my assault should still be very effective!
ELDAR TURN 4
reserves - the wratih guard come on
the eldar farseer trys to cast fortune but fails, and takes a
wound from a creature of the warp!
the bashees back away from my speeders so i could not get behind
it with my multi meltas.
one of the reaper squads manages to destroy a speeder, and the
wraith guard mannage to stun
my crusader with thier bright lance, fortunatly my extra armour
ment i was only shaken so i
could still get in to assault!
MARINE TURN 4
resevers - death company and last furioso come on
my crusader shoots towards the eldar lines, my new furioso moves
to support the tac squad in
the forest, i take another counter with my furioso on the right
but it was not the objective!, the
death company jump behind a small cliff and would be able to
take anothe counter next turn,
but it would leave them exposed to an assault from the bashees!
TAC squad #1 with support
from the furioso and BAAL moved to center of table and would
take another counter next
turn also! my last speeder moved on the guardians, and my librarian
deployed with his honour
guard!
i was ready to shoot with my vindicator BUT IT HAD FAILED ITS
RAGE CHECK and
moved forward, fortunatly though it formmed a nice wall between
a forst and hill to screen my
troops!
my crusader used the machine spirit to inflict some wounds on
a guardian squad, while my
librarian and honour guard shot the guardians they were about
to assault! my speeder used its
heavy flammer to rost 11 members of the other guardian squad
killing them all since it ignored
their cover save leaving 2 gaurdians and the warlock! finally
my librarian assaults, gettine an
extra 3 attacks with his quickening power, combined with a master
crafted power weapon
and the honour guard the entire squad was wiped out, and i swept
into the reapers and
farseer! in one turn i had almost wiped out all the eladr guardians!
ELDAR TURN 5
the reamining guradians that just got flammed by my speeder moved
on it ready to inact
revenge, the farseer cast guide on his reapers i had just swept
in to adn was ready to kill my
librarian and honour guard, the wraith guard deployed in front
of my tac squad that was
reaching the edge of the forest and also shot my ball and stunned
it! the guardians manged to
imobalise my last speeder, and both his dark reapers shot at
my librarian and honour guard,
they wiped out my hnour guard but my librarian managed to make
14 armour saves!! (gotta
love artificer armour!)
the wraith guard assaulted my tac squad #2 and my tac squad scored
a single wound which
was failed! unfortunatly wraith gurad dont run!, my librarian
got one extra attack with
quickening and almost wiped out the reapers leaving one left
who ran, but with my jumpack i
was easily able to catch him and kill him!
MARINE TURN 5
i moved my death company first on to a counter and it was the
objective! MY CHAPLIAN
HAD THE OBJECTIVE! so the 2 closest furioso's moved to support
the TAC squad fighting
the wraith guard, the other furioso moved on the death companys
position, my librarian moved
on one of the farseers (the wounded one!), and TAC squad #1 also
moved to support my
death company. TAC squad #1 shot at some rangers that were getting
close inflicting a wound
(dang cover saves!), the crusader finished of the last of the
guardians, one of my dreds was
able to assault the wraith guards wave surpent and managed to
score 2 hits ripping it to peices
(scored a 6 on the galncing table!)
my vindicator also finaly got to shoot reducing the remaining
reeper squad to a single man!
(about time!!!)
my librarian manged to gain an extra 3 attacks with his power
again and killed one of the eldar
farseers, and swept up towards the last reaper and farseer! the
comabat with the wraith guard
ended in a draw (no wounds inflicted!) i failed the moral high
ground, but i did not run!
ELDAR TURN 6
finnaly the bashees deployed right on my death company. his ramianing
reaper shot my
librarian who again shrugged of the shots with his mighty armour!
and the farseer threw his
spear at my crusader, but was unable to inflict any damage! for
some reason he opted not to
shoot my death company with his bashees! his exarch used his
acrobatics to get to my
chaplain and the rest of the bashees charged. the exarch managed
to inflict 3 wounds on my
chaplain, but his rosarious saved all but one! the bahsees also
scored 5 other wounds on the
death company killing them! i fought back killing 7 bashees,
so i had tied things up and the
bashees failed the moral high ground check! but did not run (dang
it!) the bashees still had a
chance to make me drop the objective and tie the game!
the fight with the wraith guard was still going slow and i lost
taking only a single wound, but
next turn my furioso's woudl join in!
MARINE TURN 6
both my furioso's moved on the wraith guard. my librarian moved
on the last farseer. TAC
squad #1 moved on the bashees and so did my last furioso! TAC
squad #1 shot at the
rangers again but failed to get past their cover, but my furioso
manged to score a glancing hit
on the banshees wave surpent destroying its shuriken catapults,
the baal and crusader wiped
out 2 of the 3 remaining ranger squads, and the librarian killed
the last reaper! now it was time
to assault.
the librarian assaulted the last farseer and again got an extra
3 attacks leaving the farseer with
one wound. the farseer was unable to do anything against my librarian
leaving them in combat!
the furiosos charged the wraith guard finally detroying them!
TAC squad #1 and the furioso joined the combat with the bashees.
the bashees only killed
one of the deathcompnay members, and the combined attack of a
fresh tac squad, my
chaplian, the last deathcompany member with a power fist, and
a furioso dreadnaught saw
that the bashees were no more! the Blood Angles had won the day!
it was an incredably fun battle, the eldar only had 2 rangers,
a farseer in combat with my
librarian, and a completly weaponless wave surpent! i had played
on what i knew of all the
eldar players in my area, (they always take masive amounts of
reapers and starcannons when
going against marines) the eldar player admited that that was
his intent to detsroy my marines,
and it kinda worked against my honour guard! we decided that
2 reaper squads was to many
and should have taken either storm squads with EMP grenades in
a surpent (some thing i
thaught he would take since he has in every other battle), and
he should not have charged with
his wraith guard in stead used them to go after my vehicles because
they do this realy well!
that and some fire warriors coulr have helped too!
either way we both had fun !
