modified in that we allowed both armies to deploy their entire force at the beginning of the game - we wanted a ferocious battle! :-)

The Ground & Deployment

An overview of the battlefield.
The Sisters were to defend the bunkers atop the hill, they had fortifications on either side of the position, and in front guarding the earthen ramp up - this was not going to be easy for the Tyranids.

However there were a LOT of Tyranids, commanded by an experienced Hive Mind. Three groups of Warriors were spread out through the Nid lines so that their radious of Hive Mind synapse overlapped - it would be quite difficult for even the most accurate shooting to drop enough synapse creatures to create havoc amongst the Tyranids.

The HK Sisters brought an unusual ally, a pink Eversor Assassin - apparently with the last remaining points this seemed to be the most power for the points for the Sisters - who knew what fiendish plots they had in store!
