What's In a Name?

Fairly often I am asked,
 What exactly does Ex Libris Mortis Mean?

Well here's the answer...

+++++++++++++++++++++++

Ex Libris Mortis means "From the Library of Death". I was inspired to give it that title by the Space Marine mantra "by their manner of death shall we know them." which more or less indicates that Space Marines really don't give a flip about the various alien & heretic races they encounter except how to kill them - and this was very true of me as well when I was first beginning to learn Blood Angel tactics - I wanted to know how to kill the enemy (in all the forms they come in), so I began collecting information & notes on the various armies and on my home games here. I kept those notes in html format (it's a handy medium for me) my own little library of information on the various 40K armies, and then friends began to bug me that I should put it all online. Calling it Libris Mortis (Library of Death) was too much at the time as I hadn't really gathered all that much information - so I named the site Ex Libris Mortis, suggesting that somewhere was this great archive of information, and that this site would try to showcase some of it.
