The power armor shown to the right is a very basic suit of power armor. Progressing beyond the basic functional form power armor is often ornately adorned with chapter specific artwork, chapter specific detailing & personalized details. The armor in many ways reflects something of the skill and rank/prestige of the warrior, the most ornate armor being reserved for heroes & leaders, and an even wider range of themes is available to chaos marines. Once loyal to mankind, chaos marines have chosen to worship the forces of chaos in the 40K universe and their armor reflect all manner of distorted and warped forms and iconography reflecting the dark powers which they serve.
