Eldar Turn 2

Movement - the Farseer regains his composure and they race forward (careful to stay out of our lines of fire though!), they also sent a shining spear into the back of one of our rhinos (hence the smoke and flames). Two guardians survived that big explosion from a moment ago - they ran forward and fired at the razorback, causing it to explode with a 5inch radius! The devastator squad however had already run away with their black rage from the last turn so they weren't affected. Which brings up an interesting point - after the devastators dismounted we rolled independently for the devastators and their vehicle for the black rage - we may have been wrong in doing that, but that's what we did.

Alright what else... the banshees ran forward fired and assaulted the shooty tac squad on the right flank (the ones in the trees).

The surviving viper sped forward in hot pursuit of the retreating speeders - gunning one down (see the flaming wreckage in the trees). The Banshees hardly slowed down as they sliced through the tac squad, then swept forward through the trees (though if you look carefully you can see them ON the trees they are actually down in the forrest below) :) The Wraithlord continued smacking the Death Company around (see the bodies?). And the remaining guardian squad ran down the hill just in front of the Wraithlord/DC combat. Remember this is still just turn 2! The falcon moved up a bit, and fired a bit - though at what I have no idea now :)

Blood Angels Turn 3

The Wraithlord had finished the Death Company in it's last assault phase, and was now taking point at the head of the guardian squad (it moved from it's sweeping advance), and my last remaining tac squad could see the two eldar who had killed the razorback, and wanting to be in a better position to threaten them and the approaching HQ jetbikes they moved forward. My whirlwind didn't rage (first time in the game it didn't rage!), my last speeder took off around the far right group of trees (the one with the big skeleton in it). and my devastators moved into the trees just behind the burning razorback - preparing for the gun battle that was about to start....

Eldar Turn 3

Here's a new view of the field - you can see my last speeder trying to escape, and the Eldar skimmers in hot pursuit! Visible at the right upper hand of the photo you can see my devastators, and my whirlwind. The speeder survived the shooting by the foul Eldar vehicles! hurray! :)

The Eldar moved forward - Banshees racing across the field - the falcon dashing across to hide behind the trees, the Wraithlord strides forward with a full squad of Guardians walking right behind him... The B.A. speeder survived yet another turn of firing :)
