Isvan VII Campaign Day 3
So its the last round of nurgle VS Blood Ange;ls in city fight Its a take and hold mission where im the attacker! Plan-rhino rush the military complex with everthing i have an take it by turn 3! Story line:Since the invasion on IsvanVII the Nurgle,skum of chaos,
Have been fought away from the space port and into the catpured military
Governor's complex.The governor was rescued and unharmed but the nurgle
are now seeking shelter inside the building. The Blood Angels MUST take
the last strong hold of the city to retake the city.If they fail they will
not have enough reinforcements to keep going, and the chaos puss bags will
have complete control over the largest city on Isvann VII, remaining there
for centuries locked away in the keep until their numbers are strong enough
to push fowards again.The City of Istania will never be able to be inhabited
again if the nurgle is not cleansed.

in that building no matter how many troops it cost him!
Terrain-In the middle there was the courtyard.Next to the an apartment complex.Next to that a car garage. below in his deployment zone was the military complex.and in my deployment zone was the massive pipleline refinery. Deployment-everyone was at the start of the deployment zone ready to charge Turn 1-The charge was crazy as almost all of the rhino's raged foward and none stalled out from the enegines over charging.The Veteran assualt squad raged foward as well!The dev's took aim and killing off 5 plague marines.The lascannon took down another.The chaos lord was shocked at all the units charging into him!He ordered everyone stand their ground! Turn 2- with a massive distance covered in 1 turn the squads finally made it into HtH.The shooting with the dev's killing 11 plague marines as they were tightly packed.The charge was ferocious as every single unit slammed into the plague infested nurgle marines.The Sanguinary high preist flicked aside a chainsword smashing his slaws into the skull of his foe.turning to his left with bluring speed and cut twice,then kicking the opponent revealing a severed leg and head.With his known excellent hearing High Preist Russo turned on a dime with one thrust to the gut impaling the assailant and with a spin move around him unlodging his claws made one scissor motion cutting another plague marine clean in two.Turning to his right e struck out and with an expert parry from his brother chaplain greeted him in battle.The Chaplain tyreal turned once more uppercutting with his bolt pistol tieing up the converted marines arms and swiping with his crozius twice cleaving the entire nurgle worshiper in half.Turning once more cutting in a downwards motion towards the knee causing a nugrle to fall and putting 2 bolt pistol rounds in each eye socket exploding his skull,while at the same time swinging twice with all his might knocking the traitors weapons away with his crozius and then thrusting his own weapon into the plague marines rib cage then ripping it out the side watching the traitor die a slow traitor's death.Over all 21 plague mairnes bit it and 4 possessed marines.No terminators fell and only 4 khornate warriors fell aswell.19 blood angels fell in the act.The total tally was Blood Angels with 29 kills and the nurgle marines with 19 kills.The chaplain nor the Sanguinary high preist were wounded as they were in the death zone(playing new assualt rules) and non of the veteran sergants died as they had also killed off enemy units within 2 inches of them! Turn 3-The shooting was started by the dev's who had only the terminators to fire apon.With accuracy tempered by time itself the devastators expertly put 4 terminators into their graves.The Chaplain once again slaughtered 4 plague mairnes and the Sanguinary High Preist gutted a full 5 marines as the Sanguinius's Chose rule paid off as everyone of the marines tried to impress the High Preist in combat.The possessed marines fell to 2 in number but slaughtered 7 marines without hesitation.The rest of the plague marines where killed and the khorne berzerkers killed off 7 tactical marines.The aspiring champion killing 3 more finishing off the tactical marines.The veteran squad was nearly spent and the khornate berzerkers had only lost 7 more with 9 left and the aspiring champion was alive.the terminators where left out of the combat and the lord had not entered either.The lord decided it was time now and charged his remaining terminators into the fray killing off the rest of the veteran squad and 4 DC members.The last fo the terminators where cut down by the Sanguinary High Preist and the veteran assualt squad and Death Company managed to kill off the last fo the possesed while the chaplain challeneged the chaos lord for control over the city.And so they fought...The Angel...and the Beast..The lord went sword for sword against the angel of doom parrying every blow.The chaplain in turn parried every blow from his opponent With a quick slash and a cirular motion with his crozius cutting down hacked into the semi-daemons collar bone, or what used to be his collar bone before the chaos infection.The weapon cut through with easy and the chaplain quickly pulled it out and hefted it aloft again to bring havoc to his foe just as he was struck in the abdomin with the venmous plague sword.The chaplain would not faulter to the poisons.No he would not die yet.Clinging to the plague sword with both hands he dragged him self into the blade picking up more bacteria by the second.The brave chaplain cared not of his wounds, but for the people of Isvan VII.He could not, he WOULD not let them down.Reaching to his belt infront of the chaos lord, standing still shocked at his divotion to the true Emporer of Man, the brave chaplain lifted his bolt pistol right in between the beasts eyes.The marter uttered two words before he was finished.With Faith on his tongue and hatred in his eyes he said boldly to the chaos lord,"Infect this!". Firing 2 rounds strait into the unprotected head of the serpent.The blood spewed from his head as the decapitated corpse fell to the ground.The chaplain took 2 steps back and bent over, pulling the huge sword from his stomach.The plague was coming on quickly just as the Thunderhawk Gunship in flew to clean up any other nurgle cultists still lurking around and the Sanguinary Preists strode up to the mighty chaplain taking him off and giving tubes of blood to the brave soul as he was takin back to Baal and nursed back to health. With no chaos units remaining and blood angels occupying the military
complex solely i won the game!
Story line:With the chaos pushed back from the Major city of Istania,
the remainging imperial forces pushed through the city safely helping out
with the dark angels and blood angels as they fight their battles and soon
enough the nurgle will be cleansed of Isvan VII.
Mission accomplished!
Hope you liked the whole capmaign...im gonna go abck and redo the ENTIRE
campaign onto one sheet with every battle later tonight!
