3-way Carnage Take and Hold This was a 3-way carnage take and hold battle report
We had to hold a sacred temple of the dark ages.The one who controlled the temple on the end of turn 5 wins. The lists:

Terrain:The temple was in the middle with lots of trees everywhere and some boulders and some small walls. Deployment:I deployed my rhino's behind cover and the DC behind all of them.They whirl wind was at the back and the speeders where in a forward position. Turn 1-Th Grand Master took his terminators towards the ruins near the temple.The Tactical squads took aim at the dark eldar shooting the jalopanoes out of them!The Assualt squad charged towards the dark eldar readying themselves for an assualt.The chaplain led the squad strait and true killing off 7 dark eldar with 2 losses in return.The Dark Eldar returned fire towards the tactical squads of the dark angels and fell 6 of them and killed off 2 terminators with the dark lance fire!The raiders moved towards the dark angel lines but kept out of assualt and fired killing another 10 marines with the combined splinter fire.The Blood Angels overcharged engines got the honor gaurd and 1 tac squad into dark eldar territory while the death company charged towards the dark angel terminators.The whirl wind targeted the dark eldar warrios killing 14 of them with its scattering barrage and pinning the squad that remained.The tactical squad on foot downed another with a krak missle and the last tactical squad on foot took out a dark angels rhino with another krak missle the land speeders zoomed aroudn the corner hitting another dark eldar skiff and the other land speeder knocked out the last rhino. Turn 2-The Grandmaster hurried into cover and the dark angel tactical squads gave fire into the dark eldar and fire intot he oncoming blood angels crippling one rhino.The terminators charged towards the wytches downing the skiff with multiple power fists slaming into its hull.The wytches brought down 2 more terminators before losing 8 of there own.The Archon charged towards the terminators and ripped the last three apart as the incubi nearly annihilated the Grand Master.everything else moved up and gave fire into the blood angels.The Chaplain and the Death Company raged and moved towards the dark eldar raider with the warriors in it.The Land speeder zoomed around the flank towards the same skiff.The Last land speeder zoomed towards the Archon's skiff.The tactical squads on foot BOTH raged forwards 5 and 6 inches,while the whirlwind stayed put.The firing started with the multi meltas of the speeders bringing down the warriors skiff but the archon had only the best of pilots for his craft and the experienced skiff operator jinked the craft dodging te mutli melta at the last minute.The whirl wind finished off the last of the dark eldar squad on foot while the barrage hit the last raider downing it and killing 3 warriors.The Honor guard charged towards the recently downed skiff in front of them tearing into the dark eldar like fresh meat in a butchery.The tactical squad near the honor guard hit the Grand master and incubi with an assualt.The tactical squad downed the Grandmaster and 2 incubi but suffered 9 losses in return the lone soldier fleeing and being cut down.The honor guard slaughtered the warrior squad like lambs in the pass over sweeping towards the next squad but not quite making it. Turn 3-The Dark Angels chaplain was now in command and charged the assualt squad towards the temple needing no more lives to be lost.The tactical squads gave fire into the blood angels explosing the whirl wind and a land speeder with plasma fire.The Archon mounted in his raider again and moving foward with amazing speeder(a full 24 inches) towards the temple.The last warrior squad gave fire into the on coming honor guard but they missed the death company flanking them from the other side.The casutalties were non existant.The Blood Angels tac squads ALL raged.The librarian halted and loaded into the rhino and charged towards the temple as did the chaplain and the Death Company.while the tactical squads of foot took aim killing off some of the warriors and then charging and suprisingly losing 6 tactical marines while only 3 warriors died.Never the less the fools broke but the blood angels didnt catch them. Turn 4-The Dark angels assualt squad charged reaching the temple.While the dark angels gave fire into the blood angels tactical squads killing 9 marines.The last tactical squad gave a shot towards the archons skiff but like before the expert pilot dodged the super heated burst of sun-like energy.The Archon dismounted onto the temple at the top waiting for the dark angels to assualt.The Blood angels tactical marines that remained gave fire into the dark eldar warrios wiping the rest out and the honor guard zoomed towards the temple unloading and the Death Company reached it too.The charging was all done in one turn as 4 Death Company members where cut down and the two chaplains met.Tyreal ducked under an Incubi swing and saw the dark angels chaplain wanting to fight.Offering a noble challenge the warriors fought.Savage blows were sent from the dark angels chaplain but with a high block that would have split him down the center Tyreal took the hit with the Arcanum then side stepping another overhand blow and taking a large step forwards cut into the chaplain's rib cage just as the chaplain spun around slicing through Tyreal's back.The librarian cut down all the remaing assualt marines from the dark angels alone as the incubi suffered 5 losses from the honor guard who took 4 themselves. Turn 5-The Dark angel tactical squads took aim but 2 plasma cannons
over heated killing the marines and the bolter fire was ineffective.The
archon took off the heads of 4 mroe death company marines leaving 1.Chaplain
Tyreal parried a swing to his ribs as he saw and openning.He gracefully
stepped back then activated his thrusters just as the oposing chaplain
swung wrapping his arms akwardly around his body while the Tyreal surged
foward and with a powerful swing cleaved the chaplain in half with a might
blow, or so he though.The chaplain turned and struck but Tyreal's rosarius
worked as well.The Angel's fought strike and parry until they were nearly
out of breathe.The final charge came as quickly as it left as the warriors
of light charged once and for all,With a flash coming from the colliding
Arcanum's.They stood still for a moment, those warriors did.The with the
Dark Angels chapplain saying ,"Good fight.... brother". then noble Tyreal
replied,"Your soul will be with the emporer now" as the dark angel's Arcanum
fell in half and so did he.The blessing the fallin chaplain with a quick
prayer me moved foward to his next opponents.The last death company marine
killed an incubi before he was cut down as the rest of the incubi fell
to the honor guard who in turn lost 5.The Librarian Dorian offered a holy
challenege to the lord of souls.The Librarian imbued his sword with quickening
before charging forth.The power of the two titans was impressive.The claws
of the arhcon ripped through the robes of Dorian but his Iron Halo protected
him from harm.The quickness of the librarian and the power of which he
struck suprised even the archon.Just as the archon's blow struck the librarian
was apon him with blurring speed.Then Dorian took a step back and before
the Archon even knew what he was doing he had thrusted in a red blurr through
the archon's shadow field into his abdomin.The shocked archon felt pain
and fear for once in his life.The Archon summoned forth once again as he
this time struck the librarian with brute force.The blow penetrated the
energy field and was stuck into Dorian's side.The arhcon tried and retreiving
the blade but the librarian flexed his muscles clenching the sword though
it caused immense pain.Sensing the time was at hand the librarian once
again imbued himself with the arcane pwer of quickening.The Librarian released
his muscles taking a step backs and lunging fowards cutting up twice and
the slashing down across and across.The archon had no where near enough
speed to parry all the blows and ended up losing his power blade and his
right leg.Falling to the ground he pleaded for his life.Dorian was a man
of principle.He knew evil would defeat evil.And at this time evil had defeated
itself.With a single thrust to his neck the Librarian quickly decapitated
the Archon in a Coupe De Grace.His foe had fought well, and as such deserved
a swift end.
Game Over. I won! YAY! It was an extremely hard battle with tons of HtH fighting.The Whirl Wind was great as it killed off 23 warrios and a skiff.The land speeders werent so hot but did well enough.The dark angels tactical squads proved shooty once again and the terminators cleared out the wyches for me.The chaplain proved a good match for Tyreal but was bested in the end.The librarian was tough for even the might archon and slayed him in the end(though i had 1 wound left so it was kinda tense!) the entire game was absolutely GREAT!I wish i had pics of it because there carnage in this game was insane!INSANE! Notes-Use a well prepared combined assualt on the incubi led by an archon.The
tactical squad firing was fine today but it coulda been better.The whirl
wind i will defeinately take again!The librarian and honor guard proved
them selves again and with great pride i won.
