Now this is a detail that I need to explain - the Blood Angels sculpture atop the banner is painted white, with a wash of blue ink for the contrast, then I went over each feather individually again in white for sharp definition. What's interesting about this detailing is that in my Blood Angel army I've chosen to go either with a "weathered bone" finish or a "tarnished gold" finish on the standard tops like this. Weathered bone for veteran sergeants and some leaders - gold for honor guard and the highest ranking leaders. However I felt that Moriar needed something different, something to make him really stand out in my army - to mark him as the legendary character that he is - so I decided to go with the blue/white wings which (in my mind) is more decorative (and thus indicates greater honor to the bearer) than either the weathered bone or even the weathered gold.  So there - now you know :)

I printed that banner on my printer (from an image in the Blood Angels Banner Archive), I had modified the image a bit in photoshop, then printed it. I went over the red crosses and the teardrop with red ink, and the scrollwork on the bottom of the banner I painted by hand :)
