well i went and rematched a friend of mine(filthy nurgle!) and we said we would fight today(he is over ehre now it just got finished!) and all i can say is this game RULED!!

This was the first time i'd ever taken a furioso dread and i hoped he might make it in HtH with the possesed and kill em off so that i could not get 90% of my troops killed by them...
 

the terrain was like this on my side there was some trees and some large boulders.in the middle there was 2 lines of trees and on his side was a large hill and another boulder and some trees.

Deployment was like this..i stuck my tactical squads rhino's and my jump packers with them behind the tree line on my side.The scouts when out on foot near the furioso and the preditor.The attack bikes were near the scouts too.

I got to go first,

Turn 1-The Furioso raged forward 5 inches(wow!) and i charged him up another 6 inches.The tac squads rhino's made a dash for cover with the overcharged engines making it with the DC leading the veteran assualt squad and Honor guard.The preditor moved into the next set of trees for a better firing lane and the scouts stayed put.The attack bieks moved up with the furioso dreadnought.The firing began with the tactical squad in razorback and their lascannons(as they didnt move up) which hit 3 nurgle marines(i didnt have a LOS to the chaos rhino's) The Nurgle dreadnought had a lascannon shot bounce off his thick hull as did the nurgle preditor, almost immediaitely the preditor slammed 3 lascannon shots into the side of the nurgles preditor causing it to be immobilized stunned and finally destroyed in a horrific explosion.The Scouts aimed at the nurgle marines on foot snipeing 2 of them and knocking down another 2 with well places auto cannon shots.The Nurgle commander was yet to be seen but they would bee there soon enough.The rhino's charged for more cover and made it.The nurgle marines moved up and the dreadnought raged forward aswell.The dreadnought was the only one in range and shot his own troops in the back killing 2 of the plague marines.

Turn 2-The Chaplain and Sanguinary High Preist Raged forward with the veterans a little behind and the rhino's had to use the over charged engines to keep up.The rhino's where out in the open so they deployed smoke grenadesin front of them to keep from exploding freakishly should something happen.The Furioso raged once again going strait for the chaos dreadnought.The preditor stayed put but the attack bikes raged.The scouts stood still as well.The firing began with the tactical squad with razorback again.Nailing the dreadnought with lascannon fire but not harming it (what was this thing made outta?).The Snipers picked off 3 more plague marines and 2 more auto cannon shells took down 2 more plague marines.The preditor got a good shot at the dreadnought immobilzing it and stunning it.The attack bikes shot at the on coming nurgle marines killing 2 with the super heated multi melta shots.The Furioso killed 2 more with his storm bolter and melta gun.The Nurgle Commander still hadn't arrived on the seen so the possessed marines darted near the Blood Angels lines towards the main assualt force along with the other 2 plague marine squads in rhino's.This was gonna be a hard and long battle as all the plague marines dismounted and awaited the blood angels.The firing began against the dreadnought.But the shots didnt glance and most of the bolter fire against the rhinos and such missed.The Dreadnought was stunned so didnt do anything.

Turn 3-The High Preist and Chaplain Prepaired there Forces to charge while moving up with the tactical squads.The furioso raged once again but this time in the open and deployed smoke grenades after he charged foward another 6 inches getting ready for his charge.The attack bikes tried to keep up with the angry dreadnought by going a full 12 inches to stay up with him.The preditor raged 3 inches fowards but then moved back 2 inches into the hull down spot.The scouts still didnt rage and killed off yet another 4 marines!The tactical squad in razorback had no such luck with the dreadnought and they preditor could only stun the beast again.The attack bikes killed 1 more marine before the furioso charged.With 6 nurgle marines left the dreadnought amazingly enough killed all 4 marines with 4 attacks.The DC Honor Guard Veteran assualt squad and 2 tac squads all charged into the possessed marines and nurgle marines.The odds where against them but like Sanguinius's noble act they charged into battle the Angel and The Beast.The Combat was furious as 2death company hit the floor and 5 possessed and almost an entire plague marine squad fell bleeding to the ground.The Chaplain took a wouldnt from a plague sword but survived its poisons.The Sanguinary High Priest was angered that his Brother In Arms was hurt that he annihilated 4 plague marines with his vicious charge and his honor guard killed 4 more.The total tallie was 13 tactical marines dead along with 2 DC 1 honor guard and 2 veterans with the chaplain wounded and 15 plague marines where sent back to the warp with 6 possessed.that means 21 nurgle and 17 blood angels dead.The Plague Lord finally appeared near the melee.The firing was non existant and they charged strait into the fray.The termies were amazing to say the least killing every single DC member except the chaplain and 4 more tactical squad members.Though the possessed where killed and the chaplain took down 3 termies himself.The rest of the plague marines where killed by the honor guard and veterans.The Furioso finshed the rest of the plague marines charging for the combat but missing it.

Turn 4-The Furioso raged once again.The preditor raged as well and the tactical squad an scouts stayed put.The attack biesk went up to the Dreadnought and started the firing taking it out in amassive explosion.The snipers and tactical squads shot up all but 4 of the remaining plague marines and the preditor downed another 2.The furioso charged into the melee killing off 2 terminators.The honor Guard took down the remaing terminator while the veterans failed to get a wound on the chaos lord who took down the sanguinary high preist in one thrust with his infecting plague sword whoes poisons overwhelmed the SHP and killed off 3 more honor guard.Once again the assualt continued as the lord was wounded by the veterans before the last 3 of them were slaughtered by the chaos fiend.The Chaplain Wounded the Daemon in the flesh as well and the titanic struggle continued.The furioso tried but failed to cursh the heretical madman.

Turn 5 Last Turn-The chaos dog smashed down unto the last honor gaurds men just as the Chaplain Tyreal hit the final blow sending this beast of chaos back to obivion!
 

Game over...i won but just barely,My remaining assualt forces were my chaplain and furioso.i also had a pred and 2 attack bikes and scouts and a tac squad with razorback.

Lessons Learned-Nurgle lords and retinues are extremeley powerful.Make sure you mass your troops beforegoing after them.Possessed marines are awsome in HtH and do the same as with nurgle termies.Nurgle dont have that much fire power so even us Blood Angels can out shoot them.Nurgle are tougher in HtH then you think.
