Brother Edward takes a break!
Hello everyone!
I've been so active for so long that I feel I should let people know
- I'm taking a break from 40K for a bit. I have been volunteering as a
Games Workshop 40K forum moderator for about eight months and it's kinda
burned me out. My task was to watch over their forum and close or delete
rude/profane threads and suspend the posting privileges of those who would
not follow the rules for posting within the GW forums. Truth be told the
experience overall just pushed me past my limits. It cut into my hobby
time/gaming time and so many negative interactions with troublemakers was
not a positive experience for me (even though I am confident that I helped
make those forums a better place for people to visit). Well these days
the GW 40K forum has enough moderators to cover for my absence, which means
I'm free to get back more to my hobbies, but after 4 years of 40K (and
other GW games) being my main interest it's time for a little change of
pace for me.
I have a ship model that I purchased about six or seven years ago, it's
a really cool radio controlled WWII warship which (when finished) will
be able to have actual battles with other such models (they shoot each
other with BB cannons!) and yes the ships actually sink each other! Well
this model has been gathering dust most of this time due to a lack of time
on my part to work on it, but finally I have some time and I'd really like
to get this model in the water. So this is what I'm working on right now
:) If you'd like to see pics of this new project of mine then feel
free to come see more about Edward's
Ship Models .
Of course I'll sneak in a few games of 40K and Epic and BFG from time
to time, and eventually I'll post new pics here on Ex Libris Mortis when
I shift back into 40K mode :) Until then I trust that you have plenty
of material to research here and I know there are plenty of veteran gamers
in the forums here to help you on your path to improving your Blood Angel
armies :)
Glory to the Emperor and Sanguinius & happy gaming to all!
~ Brother Edward
