Epic 40K is just what it sounds like, Warhammer 40K on an "epic"
scale. Whereas Warhammer 40K is usually fighting over an area about the
size of a city block a battle in Epic 40K covers many city blocks. What
would be an entire 2000pt army in 40K would be only one of several elements
in an Epic army. Battles on this scale involve more of a strategic approach
to things, and a number of the strengths of Imperial armies come to light
more apparently in this game than they do in 40K. Also, fighting on this
scale allows for the involvement of Battle Titans (more commonly known
simply as Titans) which are far too powerful to be involved in traditional
40K games - but are appropriate for fighting battles of this magnitude.

"Epic Titan Legions" was one of a couple of games which introduced
Titans into Epic 40K, the other was called "Titanicus". Both are long since
out of print but rulebooks and miniatures can often be found on Ebay.
The newest incarnation of these games is called "Adeptus Titanicus".
Games Workshop is still working on the rules for this newest version, and
you can download these rules for Adeptus Titanicus directly from Games

Normally Titans aren't this big, this is a scratch built Titan
shown with Epic miniatures. If a movie of 40K were ever made though I can
only hope that some of the Titans would be this size :)

Our Campaign
In Summer 2003 we will be playing out a lengthy campaign which combines
Warhammer 40K with Battle Fleet Gothic, Epic and Inquisitor. We will be
posting the reports of these games here as soon as we begin!

Currently Epic 40K is out of print, but the game, rules and miniatures
