My 40K Scale
Reaver Titan
Still very much a "work in progress", he needs his shoulder armor,
and his carapace weapon, plus detailing on the weapons and all over for
that matter, but still this Reaver Titan has gotten far enough along for
a few pics! And yes - the eyes are glowing compliments of LED lights inside
the head.
April 15th pics - a new armored carapace.
Earlier Pics with original carapace.
I cheated in this photo, I used Epic minis to show how I think a Titan
should really be - hee hee hee :)
Here's a pic of the current state of the Reaver pleace notice the
40K scale Space Marine standing underneath the Titan! :)
have yet to do the shoulder armor and weapons for Carapace and left
arm , completing the feet, adding detail to the entire model and a proper
paintjob - but it's still fun to report progress being made :)

Yes the eyes are really glowing, I wired two white LEDs up to a battery
and a small switch in the head! The torso rotates, the arms rotate 360degrees,
the weapon mounts elevate/decline 40degrees, and the head swivels left
and right.
Clearly there's a LOT of detail yet to add (weapons, shoulder armor,
finishing the head and ankles, micro detailing, painting, decals, banners),
but I thought I'd share these pics with you anyway :)
And no - I really doubt we'll use him in any of our 40K games. I've
seen what Titans can do in Epic and that kind of firepower is simply too
much for any regular game of 40K - by my estimates they could easily wipe
out around a thousand points of 40K minis per turn! eeekkk!! But he will
be fun for pics and graphics :)
